The Wood Fiber Group is the biggest manufacturer and supplier of cutting tools, filing machines and important consumable materials for the timber industry and operates mainly on the North American market (brands: Simonds International, Burton Saw & Supply, BGR Saws, Global Tooling und U.S. Blades).
Together, the two companies are able to offer complete solutions, from project planning and the construction and installation of woodworking lines to the delivery of spare parts, additional equipment and customer-specific cutting tools, and provide technical services. According to the press release, the complementarity of the two businesses will give them the opportunity to offer their customers new products and services, which is a win for the Wood Fiber Group, a win for USNR and a win for their customers.
USNR was given the title sawmill supplier of the year 2020 by Holzkurier. USNR’s European headquarters are in Söderhamn/SE. The company’s most recent big project is supplying the equipment for Tschopp Holzindustrie’s new sawmill.
