Sales increase of 30% for German sawmill industry

German sawmill industry generated € 423 million in March.

With € 423 million in sales turnover, the German sawmill industry reached the highest monthly value since July 2014 (€ 412 million) in March. Compared to February, sales increased by 30% as preliminary data by Destatis indicate, and in comparison to the same month of the previous year, this is an increase of 18%.
