While the months of June and July were weaker than last year, the German sawmill managed to return last year’s level in August thanks to an increase of 2% to €653 million this year.
In the period January to May, on the other hand, sales were very strong. At the beginning of 2022, sales had grown by more than 60% year on year.
Even after the weak summer months of June and July, average monthly sales amounted to €775 million this year, which is 25% more than in 2021. Compared to 2020, average monthly sales have nearly doubled (+84%).
