Swedish lumber price keeps rising

The Swedish lumber price index continued its upward trend in May.

At 141% (base: 2020 = 100%), the Swedish lumber price index reached its highest level so far this year. Since January, the index value has risen by 13 percentage points. Compared to April, an increase of 2.4 points was recorded.

In May 2023, the lumber price index was at 128.8%. In the year before, an index value of 183.8% was reported.
