In lumber exports to the US, European suppliers have two options: They can either ship their goods in containers or loose as break bulk. We identified 18 ports which are relevant for timber trade. Ten of them specialize primarily in break bulk shipments and four in container shipping. In four ports, both types of shipments are accepted and handled.
