US market is lucrative again

The price of US softwood sawn timber (2-by-4) has been rising continuously since the end of July. At that time, according to the Holzkurier price picture, it was still 100 US-$/1000 bft (just under 60 €/m³) lower. On Friday of the previous week, the price rose again by 20 US $ – to 572 US $/1000 bft or 343 €/m³.
