In an updated study, WhatWood has confirmed that Kronospan is currently launching a new OSB mill with a capacity of 350,000 m³/yr in Egorievsk/RU near Moscow. This would be Russia’s fourth operation producing OSB. Meanwhile, Kronospan is solving the issue with the site for the construction of a second line which would stretch the capacity to 700,000 m³/yr, the Russian news platform reports.
Kronospan’s mill in Mogilev, Belarus, also started test production at the end of August, the rated capacity of which will be 300,000 m³. Its products will be sold on the markets of Western Europe and Russia, the study reveals.
