The aim behind this addition to Combilift’s product range was to develop a multidirectional forklift truck with a low platform height, which increases storage density within racking. Two models of the Combi-MR4 with capacities of 2,500 to 3,000 kg and 3,500 to 4,500 kg are available. The forklift truck can be used in guided aisles with a width of up to 2,265 mm. The wheel configuration of two drive wheels at the rear and two sets of smaller dual front wheels provides a platform height of only 380 mm, which allows for a maximization of overall storage space in racking systems, particularly on the lower levels.
The versatile Combi-MR4 can easily transport long loads as well as palletized goods, and it features excellent ergonomics. An operator cabin which offers high visibility, a multi-function control joystick, AC-electric power steering and joystick-operated hydraulic mast functions ensure smooth driving and easy operation. With its two rear rubber drive wheels, the articulated rear axle provides optimum traction for outdoor use and ensures nimble and accurate truck placement at the same time.
This maneuverability was achieved thanks to the Dynamic 360° steering developed by Combilift. It allows the operator to change the position and direction of the forklift truck without having to stop and change the driving mode. The wheels’ positions can be adjusted simultaneously by simply moving the joystick to the right or left. This makes it possible to switch to crab steering and change direction while driving.
