Pellets prices keep rising

In November, neutralized pellets prices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland again increased compared to the previous month.

In Austria, the neutralized price for pellets (excl. VAT, transportation and handling fees) rose to €180.5/t in November. Compared to the previous month, this is an increase of €2.6/t. In comparison to November 2018, the pellets price is €1.8/t cheaper.

Germany's November price level for pellets is €174.4/t. Compared to the previous month, the price gained €4.7/t and in comparison to the same month last year €+0.4/t.

The November neutralized pellets prices reached their highest level in Switzerland: €216.9/t Compared to the previous month, this is a plus of €4.9/t, and compared to the November of 2018, the increase is even €+8.4/t. The 10-year average price in Switzerland is €202/t (€+5.3/t compared to the level in Octobdr; €+7/t compared to November 2018).
