Swiss pellet price stable this autumn

In Switzerland, the neutral pellet price (without VAT, transport and handling costs) rose slightly by €0.9/t to €336.9/t in November. Similar prices were recorded in September (€336.4/t) and April (€336.5/t). The lowest price so far this year was €301.2/t in May.
Year on year, this corresponds to a decrease of €100.1/t. The ten-year average price, which is less affected by fluctuations in the currency exchange rate, fell by €0.5/t to €296.3/t in November, after it had seen an increase of €2.1/t over the previous four months.

In Germany, the neutral pellet price is at €242.4/t in November and thus €13.2/t lower than in it was in October. Compared to November 2022 (€470/t), the pellet price fell by €227.6/t.

In Austria, pellets cost €283/t in November. The price is thus down by €8.3/t, from €291.3/t which buyers paid in October. In November last year, the neutral pellet price was at €454.2/t and therefore €171.2/t higher.
