Global logwood prices are dwindling

In the Q3, the Global Sawlog Price Index (GSPI) continued to drop and is trading 12% below the ten-year average. Prices have been the stablest in North America during the past two years (-5%). The most massive price depression (-20%) has been observed for Central Europe and is currency-related, as stated in the report by Wood Resource Quarterly.
