50% decrease compared to the record year 2021

At 4.17 million m³, China’s softwood log imports from its main supplier, New Zealand, were 2% below last year’s level in the first quarter. Deliveries from Germany more than halved, while shipments from the US and Poland decreased by nearly 50%.
