Binderholz pushes forward UK business

Former Vapo factories form the basis
Binderholz, Fügen, is currently expanding its business in the United Kingdom, as the Timber Trade Journal Online (ttjonline) reports. With the acquisition of the two Vapo sawmills in Lieksa and Nurmes at the beginning of this year, Binderholz has a production capacity of 500,000 m³ lumber per year in Finland alone. The company now wants to make use of this capacity in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Binderholz-UK already joined the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and the London Softwood Club. "It makes me proud that Binderholz is now focusing its expansion plans on Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I believe the accession to the TTF is the key to succes", says UK sales director Wayne Probert.
