The second quarter tied the production record set in the third quarter of 2017. Again, 4.85 million m³ were produced. In the same period of last year, production was at 4.8 million m³.
An even more surprising performance was recorded in the first quarter of 2020. Despite the outbreak of the pandemic, sawmill output reached 4.78 million m³ and was thus 6% higher than last year. Never before was production that high at the beginning of the year. In the years from 2016 to 2019, for example, average output was 4.3 million m³, i.e. 10% below the current level.
