With the so-called Hexakit panels, which are made of French pine and spruce wood and are manufactured using an Area five-axis CNC joinery machine from Italian machine manufacturer SCM, Piveteaubois also offers a product for customers with smaller projects. In addition to flexibility in design, the elements convince with a high degree of prefabrication, low weight and uncomplicated transport.

The panel, which is only 1.2 m wide, is available in lengths from 4.5 to 13 m and thicknesses from 120 to 160 mm. An online design tool, which is compatible with most calculation software solutions, and the various possibilities to process the panels with the six-axis Oikos CNC joinery machine from SCM, complete the range of services. The French supplier of system building solutions uses pine multiplex slats and standard screws to connect the elements.
The joined cross-laminated timber panels are transported to the construction site in handy and well-protected packages. In order to tackle well-known problems on construction sites and to prevent the elements from absorbing moisture during the construction phase, the panels are treated with a water-based primer.
