Kalesnikoff to increase CLT and glulam production capacities

Canadian timber company Kalesnikoff Mass Timber is building a new CLT line at its production site in West Kootenays, British Columbia.

At the site, a production line for cross-laminated timber will be installed. Kalesnikoff also wants to increase its glulam production capacity. To achieve this, the company will invest CAD 34 million (€23 million). The groundbreaking ceremony is to take place soon, and production is scheduled to start at the end of 2024. 90 new jobs will be created as a result of the investment.
