Located in Wiesau-Schönhaid in Bavaria, the carpentry company Zimmerei Ziegler employs 28 people. The new owner, Fowatec, a construction project company headquartered in the Allgäu region, plans to keep all of them. The carpenters employed there have “many years of experience in sophisticated wooden structures,” according to the insolvency administrator. Therefore, the Zimmerei Ziegler is a perfect fit for Fowatec’s portfolio. The latter specializes in unconventional construction projects and can now rely on its own carpentry shop for the integration of complex wooden structures.
In a statement, Böhm confirms that the “transfer of operations has already taken place.” Both parties have agreed to not disclose the purchase price.
