Significantly more laminated timber from abroad

In January, Italy imported 31,000 m³ of laminated timber, which is a 25% increase compared to the same month of 2020. Over two thirds of the overall volume (19,000 m³; +23%) came from Austria.

In addition to the positive development of shipments from Russia (3,000 m³; +20%), imports from Germany are particularly remarkable. In January, they skyrocketed by 954% to 2,900 m³.
