Cautious confidence on International Wood Day
Despite sales and price stabilization, the increased costs have not yet been compensated
"We have been in crisis for two years," said Markus Schmölzer, Chairman of the Austrian Sawmill Industry, at the beginning of this year's International Wood Day on August 30th. The enormous interest in current market signals was shown by the visit to Klagenfurt. The traditional event, organized by the Association of the Wood Industry, was literally stormed by over 400 participants.
