China, 66% of softwood lumber imported from Russia

In 2021, China imported 12.84 million m³ of softwood lumber from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Last year, 11.47 million m³ of softwood lumber were imported from Russia, which accounts for two thirds of China’s overall imports (17.43 million m³). 910,000 m³ (5%) were bought from Belarus and 460,000 m³ (3%) from Ukraine. Data are collected by China Customs Statistics.
