Sweden exported more lumber

From January to July, Sweden exported 8.68 million m³ of softwood lumber, recording a 10% increase compared to the same period of last year.

Great Britain was once again the most important export market with 1.72 million m³ (+14%), followed by the Netherlands (906,000 m³; +51%) and Egypt (705,000 m³; +33%).

Swedish softwood lumber exports to the US (675,000 m³; -9%), Norway (430,000 m³; -23%) and Japan (331,000 m³; -34%), on the other hand, saw marked decreases compared to last year.
