12% decrease to € 322 million in March
The German sawmill industry generated sales of € 322 million in March. This is 12% less than last year and 18% less than in March 2011.
January (€ 283 million) and February (€ 288 million) have seen sales steady to last year's. The weak March leads to a slightly negative overall first quarter: € 893 million in the first three months means a decrease of -5%.
